SPC Bridge Modbus
Secure and reliable
All communication between the SPC panel and the Bridge is encrypted and occurs on your local network. No cloud service is involved. Vanderbilt's official protocol FlexC is used. The SPC panel settings determine what can be controlled and monitored.
Modbus TCP server
The SPC Bridge provides a Modbus TCP server to which Modbus clients, such as Siemens LOGO! or a SCADA system, can connect.
Following states, status and commands from/to the SPC system are mapped to predefined Modbus registers:
- SPC area command objects
- SPC area status objects
- SPC zone command objects
- SPC zone state and status objects
- SPC output command objects
- SPC output state objects
- SPC door commands objects
- SPC door status objects

Case options
SPC Bridge Modbus is available with two different case options, frosted aluminium alloy or lavender colored ABS plastic.

All SPC panel models are supported. Technically, a maximum of 256 zones, 16 areas, 8 doors and 16 outputs (mapping gates) are supported. However, in practice, it is advisable not to exceed more than 128 zones to ensure optimal performance.
Recommended Modbus Client poll rate >= 2 seconds. - Web based Admin GUI.
The Bridge is configured using a user-friendly web-based admin interface.
